Welcome to ContactVerify, a product owned and operated by Lintio Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”).
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ContactVerify API (the “API”).
By registering for, accessing, or using the API, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the Lintio Ltd Terms of Service.

If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Overview

ContactVerify is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) API that enables businesses and developers to validate and verify contact information programmatically.
The API is a digital software product offered under a subscription model via Paddle.
Lintio Ltd does not offer consulting, advisory, or human services — only access to this automated software product.

2. API Access and License

• Lintio Ltd grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the ContactVerify API for your internal business purposes.

• You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute API access to third parties without prior written consent.

• You are responsible for securing your API key(s) and all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if your usage violates these Terms or applicable law.

3. Usage Limits and Fair Use

Each plan includes a monthly quota of API calls.
You agree not to exceed the limit associated with your subscription.
Excessive or abusive usage (including spam, scraping, or denial-of-service activity) may result in suspension.

We may introduce rate limits or usage controls at any time to maintain service stability.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

• All payments are processed securely through Paddle, our authorized reseller and payment provider.

• Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

• Fees are non-refundable for partial billing periods.

• Failure to pay may result in temporary or permanent suspension of access.

5. Data Privacy and Security

Lintio Ltd does not store, sell, or share personal data received through API requests beyond what is required for verification or legal compliance.
All transmissions occur over encrypted HTTPS connections.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of the API complies with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, if applicable).

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the ContactVerify API to:

• Engage in spam, fraud, or any unlawful activity;

• Harvest or distribute personal data without consent;

• Interfere with or disrupt our systems or servers;

• Compete with or replicate the ContactVerify service.

Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination.

7. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high uptime and reliability, but availability is provided “as is” and may vary due to maintenance, network, or third-party factors.
Lintio Ltd is not liable for interruptions or delays beyond its control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lintio Ltd’s total liability arising from use of the API shall not exceed the total fees paid to Lintio Ltd within the past 90 days.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Paddle account or by contacting support.
We may suspend or terminate access for:

• Violation of these Terms or the Lintio Ltd Terms of Service;

• Non-payment;

• Abuse, fraud, or unlawful use.

Upon termination, API keys will be disabled and further requests will be blocked.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Revised versions will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in Jamaican courts.
